What to expect from Turkish
- Turkish uses the Latin alphabet with a few extra letters, so you can start reading early.
- Suffixes carry much of the grammar, and one long word can do the work of a full English sentence.
- Vowel harmony changes the vowels in suffixes, so expect the same ending to appear in different forms.
- The verb usually comes last. Practise listening through to the end of the sentence.
Tutor or app?
- Choose a tutor to practise speaking and get corrections.
- Choose an app or course for a steady daily routine.
Before you book
- Tell the tutor your level and your goal.
